Our Mission At MyLocalBusiness, we believe small business owners deserve better. Not better luck. Not better circumstances. Better tools — the kind that used to be reserved for companies with entire marketing departments and six-figure budgets to burn through.
Years ago, working for a small business, we started meeting other owners at networking events. Smart people. Hard workers. But almost all of them were struggling with the same thing: marketing. It stuck with us.
Years later, after starting our own business and feeling those same pressures firsthand, we decided to do something about it. The truth is, most small businesses don't fail because the owner isn't talented or hardworking enough. They struggle because they're spending all their time doing the work — and nobody's making sure that work gets found, followed up on, and turned into paying customers.
That's the gap MyLocalBusiness was built to close.

Who Are We?
MyLocalBusiness was built by a Senior Marketing Leader with 10 years in the industry and experience scaling an Inc 5000 company from $20M to over $80M — including driving over $20M in pipeline last year alone. But the credentials only tell part of the story. Like a lot of people who build something from scratch, the real motivation wasn't a business plan, it was personal. A desire to build something meaningful. Something that could provide for my family while actually making a difference in people's lives. That combination of purpose and pressure is something every small business owner understands, and it's exactly what drives everything I do here.
Hi, I'm Aidan. I live on the west side of Wasaga Beach, surrounded by people I love and enough space to stay active and keep my mind engaged. I'm someone who needs to be building something, learning something, or solving something at all times — which, it turns out, is a pretty good personality type for starting a business. I built MyLocalBusiness because I kept meeting hardworking people who deserved more than they were getting, and I had the skills to actually do something about it. Ten years of senior marketing experience, a front-row seat to what separates businesses that scale from those that stall, and a genuine obsession with helping local businesses win.
So that's me. One person, one mission, and a lot of conviction that the playing field is about to get a lot more level.
